(During the events of Small Favor)
“I don’t understand why we have to go to Chicago in the middle of the winter, I hate snow” Kincaid mutters to Ivy as they approach the train teller.
He is pulling two large luggage bags behind him, and a duffle bag across his body.
He is assembled in a blue windbreaker, Jeans, and winter boots made for the tough terrain.
“The last time we moderated a duel for him the whole thing went to hell, what makes you think this time will go any differently?”
Kincaid shakes his head and walks to the teller, smiling slightly at the attractive woman behind the counter.
“Two for Chicago” Passing her a 20 dollar bill.
With an inquisitive look, the bank teller leans over to see Ivy standing next to Kincaid. She smiles staring down at Ivy and back at Kincaid.
“Going home for the holidays and such” He says looking at Ivy knowingly.
The teller hands him the tickets as he puts them in his pockets and steps out of line. Looking back ahead of him with a digrunteled look on his face.
“Uncle Harry would be awful lost without us”
Starting to walk towards the waiting area, “Are you sure you dont want to join the girl scouts?”
Starting to smile at the idea,
“You could wear a sash, and a hat, and deliver all sorts of cookies” Kincaid says mockingly.
“Ah, on second thought, that would mean I would need to go to all the meetings to protect you, and Scout Leader Kincaid, does not have a nice ring to it”
Standing on the waiting Deck.
“Lets just keep a low profile and hope the train ride goes quiet and smooth, we can then begin to prepare for the cluster fuck of Dresden’s meeting.”
